Abe Oommen, President and CEO

 

Abe runs the day to day operations of the company. He is one of the two founders of GeneSeek. Abe provides vision and direction to the company. He is presently driving efforts at GeneSeek in developing new instruments for proteomics as well as guiding the company in expanding overseas. Prior to starting the company, Abe was a Senior Scientist at LI-COR Inc. He has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Genetics from the University of Kansas and did post-doctoral work at the Noble Foundation.

 

Daniel Pomp, Vice President and CSO

 

Daniel manages the science at GeneSeek along with much of the business development work. He is the other co-founder of GeneSeek. Daniel provides scientific direction and vision to the company. Presently, he is Professor, Department of Nutrition, University of North Carolina Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Chapel Hill, NC. Prior to that, he was Professor, Department of Animal Science at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Daniel has a Ph.D. from NC State University and did post-doctoral work at the University of California, Davis.
