Detection of Pathogens and Disease State

 

GeneSeek specializes in high throughput detection of markers and pathogens that predict or control health status. We have developed systems for detection of single to multiple protein markers and antibodies in biological samples.

 

We currently specialize in disease markers or pathogens specific to swine and cattle. Samples can be simultaneously analyzed for disease and trait/predisposition status, including susceptibility, resistance or other genomic signatures that are related or unrelated to the clinical investigation.

 

Current Products

 

ELISA and PCR based diagnostics for BVDV (Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus) in cattle. Samples can range from blood spots on paper to dried ear tags in TypiFix or similar devices.

 

PCR based diagnostics for detection of PRRSV (Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syncitial Virus).
